I had the idea of creating a blog site almost 6 months ago. I was on a run in downtown Knoxville in the heat of summer, and I was a mile away from being done. While running, the idea of creating a blog website came into my mind. I felt like the idea wasn’t my own, but from the Lord. In the past, I have often been spending time in prayer or reading my bible when I feel like the Lord wants me to share what He is teaching me. I have a few long captions on my Instagram that were a result of that. I knew from the very beginning that I didn’t want this blog website to be on a strict posting schedule, resulting in inauthentic words. Hence, the name of this blog. Steadfast was my word of the year for 2024. I wanted my time and relationship with the Lord to be steadfast and unwavering. That is my prayer for this blog. I promise to only post blogs on topics that I feel passionate about and biblically-based. This leads to the second word of this website, patience. I ask that anyone reading will be patient, as this website won’t have any promise of scheduled posts. It’s also a prayer I have for myself, that I will be patient with the Lord in understanding what He has to teach me. So, that is what this blog website will consist of, me simply sharing what the Lord is teaching me and collecting them all into one place. I am very excited to start sharing different topics and ideas. Even if this website reaches one person or one hundred, I pray that each post will be fruitful for the person reading. This is a short and sweet , but I wanted to further explain my heart behind this website and how the idea came about!
